Liu Liang, a Ph.D. in Computational Intelligence and Information Processing, is an associate professor at Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications and a doctoral/master's supervisor. He is a visiting scholar in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Exeter, UK, a senior member of the China Computer Federation (CCF), and a member of the Executive Committee of the ACM Chongqing Chapter. He primarily focuses on research in communication/computer networks, edge intelligent computing, quantum optimization, and multimodal data fusion processing, with many years of experience in developing industry applications. He has led and participated in more than 10 national natural science foundation and provincial/ministerial level fund projects, and has led more than 20 enterprise horizontal projects. In recent years, he has published over 50 papers as the first author/corresponding author in foreign journals such as TMC, TCOM, TNSM, EAAI, CN, CCPE, as well as domestic journals such as Science China - Information Sciences, Journal of Communications, Journal of Electronics and Information Technology, and Acta Electronica Sinica. He has applied for and been granted over 30 invention patents, published 2 monographs, and co-authored 6 textbooks. He has won the first prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award from State Grid Sichuan Electric Power Company, the Teaching Achievement Award from Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, the Outstanding Service Contribution Award at the IEEE NAS International Conference, the Excellent Contribution Award at the 2026 CCF New Technologies Symposium on Computer Networks (CCF WCNT2026), and has been awarded the title of Outstanding Teacher at Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications multiple times.
