Ying Huang received the B.E. and M.E. degrees from Wuhan University, China, in 1999 and 2002, respectively, and a Ph.D. in signal and information processing from the University of Electronic Science and Technology, China, in 2012. In 2002, he joined the Institute of computer science and technology, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, as a lecturer and associate professor. Since Dec. 2014, he has been with the school of software engineering at the same university. His current research interests include image fusion and intelligent information processing. He is a senior member of CCF and a member of IEEE. He has published a monograph, obtained six authorized patents, published more than 20 papers on SCI, EI, and other journals and conferences, and is a reviewer of CVPR, ECCV, Information Fusion, IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Vehicles, IET image processing, and other journals. He has been awarded the excellent thesis instructor of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications for two consecutive years.
