Dr. Chang Su is a professor in computer science department in Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications. She is also a member of the China standardization committee and an expert of ISO/IEC. Professor Chang Su has made outstanding achievements in QoS routing and broadcasting algorithm with high efficiency and low energy consumption, as well as in prediction and recommendation in social networks. She received her Ph.D. degree from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Liverpool in 2007, focusing on energy-efficient routing algorithms and broadcasting algorithms for wireless sensor networks. She published many papers in high-level international conferences and journals in this field, as well as recently she published two invented patents named as "Low-energy routing method based on inter-satellite communication" and "A three-dimensional geocasting method for wireless sensor networks based on Fermat points" respectively, which have laid a solid foundation on inter-satellite geocasting communication for low-orbit satellites network. From 2011 to 2013, she was a postdoctoral fellow in the Computer Department of Cornell University. During this period, she mainly aimed at sparsity and cold start problems, and proposed and improved the deep learning model to mine hidden features and connections, and capture the user's interest preference features, so as to better predict the items of interest to the user. She published many papers in high-level international conferences and journals in this field, as well as she published 26 invented patents and 4 software copyrights, which have laid a solid foundation on traffic prediction, network resource consumption prediction and personalized recommendation. She is devoted to the intersection of wireless network communication and artificial intelligence. She is one of the project leaders of three ISO international standards. Moreover, she is one of the main initiators of intelligent communication for future networks. Two ISO international standards are in the publication stage leaded by her and one is in editing stage, called Future network architecture —Proxy model-based quality of service, Future network protocols and mechanisms —Proxy model-based quality of service and Artificial Intelligent Enabled Networking, which have laid a solid foundation on Quality of Service and Intelligent Networking.
